Ms. Sreelakshmi has completed her bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Kerala University, India in 2015 followed by  Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology in 2017 from Kerala University, India.

She served as an Audiologist and speech language pathologist for 1 year at National Institute of speech and hearing (NISH), Trivandrum, Kerala and offered diagnosis and treatment for various speech language communication disorders. She also served as the Assistant professor/speech language pathologist at Dr. S R Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing, Bangalore.

  • Adults with dysphagia (secondary to neurological disorders) provide assessment and management with traditional approaches and neuromuscular electrical stimulation.
  • Speech and language assessment and management for children with speech and language delay, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, intellectual disorders.
  • Reading and writing skills training to children with learning disabilities.
  • Auditory training for children with hearing impairment aided with hearing aid and cochlear implant.
  • Assessment and management of children with speech sound disorders and cleft lip and palate.
  • Management of fluency disorders in children as well as adults.
  • Adults with neuro motor speech disorders such as dysarthria and apraxia and neuro language disorders such as aphasia, TBI, and right hemisphere damage.
  • Management of individuals with laryngectomy using electro larynx, esophageal speech, and tracheostomy with speaking valve
  • Assess AAC candidacy and provide appropriate AAC for the needy.
  • Counseling regarding assessment results, probable therapy outcomes and recommendation of appropriate rehabilitative services available to patients and families and provide home training program.
