Dr. Leena brings with her an impressive overall experience of over 15 years, with 7 years in the UAE. She has earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Pathology from the prestigious JSS Medical College in Mysore, India. Further, she has also completed her Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Clinical Pathology from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi, India. She is a certified internal auditor for ISO 15189:22, Involved in various quality improvement activities and audits including but not limited to DOH, JCIA, ISO 15189, and ISO 9001.
She has also Completed short term observer ship from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology and awarded fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologist (UK) in Histopathology.
She previously served as an Assistant and Associate Professor of Pathology at Father Muller Medical College, where she gained experience in postgraduate teaching and research. She also held the position of Deputy Quality Manager in the cytopathology section, contributing to its NABL accreditation. Additionally, she pioneered the reporting of immunofluorescence microscopy for skin lesions.
